Three Achievements Of Beifu Won The 2024 China Textile Federation Science And Technology Award
Recently, the 2024 Science and Technology Award Conference of China Textile Industry Federation (hereinafter referred to as "China Textile Federation") was held in the Great Hall of the People in Beijing. Professor Wang Rui's team, Professor Liu Li's team and Professor Zhang Xiuqin's team won three awards for their outstanding research achievements and contributions. Zhan Binghong, member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Vice President of Beijing Institute of Fashion Technology, was invited to attend the award ceremony, and the heads of the award-winning teams and relevant functional departments attended.

The Science and Technology Award of China Textile Industry Federation is an industry wide science and technology award approved by the Ministry of Science and Technology, which aims to reward collectives and individuals who have made outstanding contributions to the scientific and technological progress activities of the national textile industry.
Professor Wang Rui's team won the first prize of Science and Technology Progress Award by virtue of the outstanding research results of "Research and Development and Industrialization of Polyester Composite Fiber Melt Direct Spinning Engineering Technology". This achievement is innovative in the textile field. The project breaks through the key technology of engineering and industrialization of polyester composite fiber melt direct spinning, realizes continuous polymer melt direct spinning of polyester parallel composite fibers, and establishes the structure and performance control mechanism of polyester parallel composite fibers; Build polyester heat and thermal oxygen stabilizer system, independently develop nano deposition catalyst and titanium silicon composite catalyst, and break through the key technology of continuous polymerization, direct spinning, high heat and thermal oxygen stability, high viscosity polyester polymerization.

Professor Liu Li's team won the first prize of Science and Technology Progress Award by virtue of "Key Technology and Application of High Performance Clothing R&D in Winter Sports Training Competition". This achievement has proved that the pressure difference resistance and clothing surface friction resistance caused by the movement posture are the main and secondary sources of air resistance for winter sports racing clothing. It has innovatively put forward the cross scale collaborative drag reduction technology of clothing structure lines and fabric surface microstructure, which has realized the maximum drag reduction rate of speed skating compared with the competition clothing and short track speed skating competition clothing to 11% and 10% respectively; The virtual simulation training system of "human body clothing environment" all element competition clothing was developed. Based on the evaluation data of international level aerial skill referees, the relationship model between the visual influencing factors and performance evaluation of aerial skill competition clothing was constructed, and the design and evaluation problems of acrobatic clothing were solved. During the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics, Beijing Institute of Fashion Technology, together with Anta (China) Co., Ltd., Tsinghua University, Jixiang Sanbao High tech Textile Co., Ltd., Tianjin University of Technology, Wuhan Institute of Physical Education, Guangdong Derun Textile Co., Ltd., Donghua University, Toread Holding Group Co., Ltd. and other units, helped the Chinese sports delegation achieve 5 gold, 2 silver and 2 copper in its total score. In addition, Professor Liu Li's team won the Science and Technology Innovation Award in the 14th China Textile Engineering Society.

Professor Zhang Xiuqin's team won the second prize of Technological Invention Award by virtue of Key Technology and Application of Functional Polylactic Acid Fiber Preparation. Through theoretical and technical innovation, the project has established the spinning technology of polylactic acid fiber with uniform evenness and excellent mechanical properties, broken through the large-scale preparation technology of heat resistant, three-dimensional crimping, flame retardant and melt droplet resistant polylactic acid fiber, studied the functional mechanism and structure control technology of polylactic acid, and invented the core technology for the preparation of functional polylactic acid fiber and its products, such as side by side composite, flame retardant and antibacterial, After 30 times of washing, the LOI of the flame retardant polylactic acid fabric can still reach 33%, there is no dripping, and the antibacterial rate of the fabric is ≥ 99%. The research and development of PLA fiber and textile products will further promote the green development of modern textile industry, help the low-carbon transformation of textile products, and promote the green and healthy and more sustainable development of the country.
