Local Data: Zhejiang Textile And Garment Export Increased By 20.9% In The First Half Of The Year

According to the statistics of Hangzhou Customs, in the first half of the year, Zhejiang Province exported 288.55 billion yuan of textile yarn, fabric and its products, clothing and accessories, an increase of 20.9% over the same period last year. Textile exports increased by 18.27 billion yuan, including 18.27 billion yuan; Clothing export was 105.79 billion yuan, up 28.2%. In the first half of this year, the export scale of Zhejiang's textile and garment ranked first in China, accounting for 28.7% of the total value of China's textile and garment exports, with the share increasing by 2.5% compared with the same period last year; Its contribution rate to the growth of China's textile and clothing export reached 51.0%, ranking first among all provinces and cities in China.

From January to June, Shaoxing, Ningbo and Jinhua ranked among the top three in terms of textile and garment export scale, with 82.93 billion yuan, 50.29 billion yuan and 46.23 billion yuan respectively, increasing by 29.0%, 12.4% and 22.3%, accounting for 62.2% of the total export value of the province. Zhoushan's export growth was the fastest, with an increase of 70.9%, followed by Wenzhou, with an increase of 37.3%. From the perspective of subdivided commodities, in the first half of the year, the growth rate of clothing export was 11.1 percentage points higher than that of textiles, which promoted the growth of textile and clothing export by 9.8 percentage points, and the monthly export growth rate (except February and April) was more than 30%.
