Fujian Fiber Inspection Bureau Launched Series Activities Of Textile Science And Technology Week

In order to meet and complete the national science and technology week of 2019, Fujian Textile Inspection Bureau has launched a series of textile science and technology activities for the whole society.

At the beginning of this month, the provincial Fiber Inspection Bureau held the first seminar on the new technology of textile industry in Fuzhou. The main purpose is to show the latest research and development of textile industry and related research results, and explore the challenges and opportunities of the textile industry.

The seminar was chaired by Pan Hangxing, director of the Provincial Bureau of fiber inspection, invited scholars from Donghua University, Soochow University, Quanzhou Normal University, Minjiang University and other textile universities, experts from provincial textile industry associations, representatives of many famous textile and garment enterprises in China, etc.

Experts and scholars have made a special report on the development trend of Fujian textile industry's quality, the mass production of nanofibers, the application in textile and clothing industry, the performance and evaluation of electrocardiographic sensors in textile structure, the application of modern nonwoven products and protective grille, and the new technologies of textile cleaner production.

At the technical exchange meeting held in the afternoon, the delegates said that they had benefited greatly from the meeting.

On the afternoon of May 23rd, the provincial Fiber Inspection Bureau launched the opening day of science and technology week, and invited about twenty young delegates from Cangshan district government and directly affiliated units in Fuzhou.

Under the leadership of the technicians, the delegates visited the inspection hall and Laboratory of the fiber inspection technology, inspecting the testing process of the products such as fiber, fabric, clothing, bags, leather and footwear. The test of the fabric chemical indicators, microbial indicators, ingredients, physical properties and color fastness of the fabrics were learned by the technicians at the scene. During the visit, the UV protection performance of many sunscreen and umbrellas was tested free of charge for the delegates, and the brochures of all kinds of textile and clothing quality knowledge and typical leather souvenirs were released.

In addition, the Provincial Bureau of fiber inspection also carried out a scientific knowledge popularization campaign with the theme of "science and technology powerful nation, science popularization and benefiting people" jointly with the Taijiang district market supervision bureau and Baolong city square in Taijiang District, Fuzhou.

At the scene of the event, volunteers showed cotton physical standards, black heart cotton, fabrics containing all kinds of conventional fibers, leather shoes, children's shoes and bags for typical quality problems. The characteristics, hazards and identification techniques of "black heart cotton" were explained in detail, and the inspection techniques and quality and safety knowledge of children and school clothes, bags, leather and footwear were publicized, and the public's quality problems related to floc fiber products and some clothing products were answered.
