As we all know, rising prices are related to insufficient supply and excessive demand.

With the change of people's diet structure, the consumption of meat gradually decreases, and the supply of raw skins as a meat industry is gradually reduced.

Scarcity will lead to a surge in its value and turn into a luxury product. Su Chaoying read that it is undeniable that if the supply of meat is down, the supply of natural leather as a non renewable product will gradually shrink. From the general trend, the price may rise again.

The definition of luxury goods is rather complicated. Su Chaoying thinks that leather products should be defined as middle and high grade products because their unique comfortable handle and natural texture are unmatched and replaced by synthetic leather.

Zhou Yunfei expressed his approval.

He said, it is undeniable that with the improvement of synthetic leather manufacturing technology, some of them can replace natural leather, but they can not be completely replaced. The two kinds of materials belong to different positioning, and the target customers are basically different. Synthetic leather occupies a larger market share in low-end products because of cost advantage.

Zhou Yunfei continued to analyze that natural leather fabrics still lacked more effective and professional promotion if

Cognitive improvement.

Su Chaoying and Chen Zhanguang agreed with this view.

They also said that the Chinese Leather Association has done a lot of work: the establishment of the office of leather signs, the development of ecology.

Labels, holding the "dermis logo Cup" design competition, and so on, the purpose is to enable consumers to obtain product quality assurance information from the terminal.

But Chen Zhanguang also mentioned that more work should be done in leather fashion trends and design research and development, to convey the fashion and environmental characteristics of natural leather to consumers.

Su Chaoying said that the association will also intensify its efforts in publicity, thoroughly explore and think about how to effectively spread the leather products, so that terminal consumers can clearly understand the natural leather information of the products they buy, deepen consumer's understanding of leather, and establish a healthy image of the industry in the minds of consumers.

Since the beginning of this year, environmental regulations, standards and policies have been introduced, and China's tanning industry has been under heavy pressure.

There is pressure to have power, Su Chaoying thinks, it is these pressures that promote the entire leather industry enterprises to think about how to innovate to break through tight encirclement.

Chen Zhanguang also stressed that pollution must be governed, because this is the lifeline of the development of the industry.

He said that although enterprises may face greater pressure and need a lot of investment in the short term, large enterprises started to do this work 10 years ago, and the level of environmental protection has been greatly improved. The most important thing is that small and irregular leather enterprises need to close and integrate, and a healthy and fair market competition environment for leather industry.

But Chen Zhanguang still reminds Chinese enterprises that environmental protection requirements are constantly changing. Enterprises should keep pace with the times and look at this issue in a long-term perspective.

Zhou Yunfei, on behalf of enterprises, welcomed the implementation of the environmental law.

He believes that although the most stringent environmental protection law in history has a great impact on the whole industry, it is more conducive to the development of large and medium-sized enterprises, so as to enhance the scale management advantages of enterprises and improve the disorderly development of the industry, and gain the cornerstone of healthy development.

Zhang Yan gave a clear example to prove the strict requirements of environmental protection on the development of leather industry in China.

She said that in the first half of the year, there were only 8 news reports on the 38 leather enterprises in China Leather net which had been comprehensively managed by Haining leather net. The news received widespread attention at home and abroad. Many people were questioning the situation of 8 remaining industries. The fact is that the remaining 8 production capacity and regulatory efficiency are higher than the sum of 38.

At the same time, the suppliers of leather goods also pay more attention to the changes of leather types in China's tanneries because of the changes in environmental pressure. They feel that the consumption of wet blue is gradually increasing and the consumption of salt and wet skin is decreasing.

Chen Zhanguang confirmed this fact with data.

"In 2013, China imported 1 million 400 thousand tons of raw leather and 810 thousand tons of semi finished leather," he said.

But from January to October this year, the number of raw and semi processed leather imported from China decreased by 9% and 1% respectively. It is possible to find a trend of increasing the proportion of wet blue skin imports.

Chen Zhanguang continued to explain that such a trend has nothing to do with the increasing pressure on environmental protection in China. However, there may be a misunderstanding in the understanding of the local governments. It is considered that the pollution level of wet blue processing is lower than that of salt wet skin, and the waste water produced is easier to control. Therefore, various measures are taken to encourage enterprises to use wet blue.

But the real situation is that the pollution from raw skins is indeed greater, but it is easier to control and control the quality of products.

Regarding the future trend, Chen Zhanguang believes that the trend of increasing the proportion of wet blue skin imports may continue, but a certain proportion will stabilize.
