Notice issued by the government of India on the consideration and reconfirmation of cotton export registration certificate


Subject: cotton export registration certificate (RCS) consideration and reconfirmation.


The government of India issued a Notice No. 102nd on March 16, 2012, which is a process notification of the review and reconfirmation of the cotton export registration certificate (RCS).

The notice said that the deadline for examination and reconfirmation of registration certificates is March 22, 2012 (Thursday).

Insiders expect to accelerate the submission of applications.


The government has decided to give priority consideration to and reconfirm the consignment of cotton that has been pferred to the port in March 4, 2012 when the cotton export ban came into effect.

Cotton at the land customs station in India, Pakistan, India Bangladesh and India Nepal border will have a higher priority.


The announcement will be reexamined, and only after the registration certificate is reconfirmed will it be allowed to export.
