11th Five-Year: rapid development

Yang Shibin first talked about the "11th Five-Year period", China's knitting industry has made rapid progress.

He said, looking back to 2005, that is, the last year of "fifteen", the number of knitted garments exceeded the number of woven garments for the first time. In 2006, the first year of 11th Five-Year, knitted garments had surpassed woven garments for the first time in terms of amount.

In 2007, the China Textile Industry Association held the first China International Knitting exposition.

Up to the end of 11th Five-Year, the total amount of fiber processing in China reached 41 million 300 thousand tons in 2010, an increase of 60.70% compared with that in 2005, while knitted products reached 13 million 500 thousand tons, accounting for 1/3 of the total fiber in the country, accounting for 1/6 of the total fiber in the world.

Speaking of the three major fields of clothing, home textiles and industrial textiles as textile terminal products, the development of knitted products is balanced. As at the end of 11th Five-Year, knitted garments accounted for about 55%-65% of garments, knitted textiles accounted for 15% of household textiles, accounting for 20% of industrial textiles, and gradually formed a number of dominant enterprises and industrial clusters with knitting production as the gathering place.

Yang Shibin said that entering the "12th Five-Year" stage, China's knitting industry is facing severe situations including rapid increase in labor costs and raw material costs, and at the same time intensifying competition with overseas industries, especially in Southeast Asian countries.

With the increase of overseas investment, the competition between Chinese knitting enterprises and overseas enterprises in the local industrial chain is also gradually increasing.

12th Five-Year: achieving highly effective development

This year is the opening year of "12th Five-Year". Yang Shibin told reporters that China's knitting industry will change from high speed development to high efficiency development during 11th Five-Year.

It is embodied in three aspects: first, the improvement of the knitting industry chain, to minimize the industrial area radius and shorten the processing cycle, so as to achieve direct and indirect costs reduction; second, improve the internal labor efficiency of the industry, during 11th Five-Year, the textile industry efficiency increased from 150 thousand / person to 310 thousand / person, and it is expected to reach 600 thousand / person at the end of 12th Five-Year.

Third, we should strengthen the exploration of marketing mode and the construction of sales channels.

Yang Shibin believes that in the rapid development of the network situation, for a higher standard of products such as socks, such as socks, more suitable for network sales, thus greatly reducing the cost of sales of products, Yang Shibin believes that the development of the future network sales model is unimaginable for the promotion of traditional industries.

Exhibition: segmenting industry products

Speaking of the fourth China International Knitting exposition held in Shanghai in August this year, Yang Shibin said that this year's knitting exposition is still working with the Textile Trade Promotion Association, and gradually constructing the international underwear culture week in Southern China area (Shenzhen), characterized by the concept of "small underwear", and the knitting exposition of East China (Shanghai) with the concept of "big underwear". The goal is to enhance the contribution rate of science and technology, carry out extensive cooperation within and outside the industry, continue to strengthen the promotion and pformation of scientific and technological achievements in the industry, and strengthen the promotion of the fashion trend of knitting industry, static product display and forum activities to the exhibition.

This year's knitting exposition will be launched with the same time as the yarn exhibition, which will certainly attract more attention from the industry and the industry chain.
