On July 19, the 2024 China (Ordos) Cashmere Industry New Quality Productivity Development Conference, co sponsored by China Wool Textile Industry Association and Inner Mongolia Ordos Resources Co., Ltd., was successfully held in Ordos, Inner Mongolia. In his speech, President Yang Zhaohua pointed out that adhering to innovation driven development, cultivating and strengthening new driving forces, and expanding new growth space have become an important issue for China's cashmere industry to "lead the world". Our whole industry should strengthen the high-quality supply capacity of cashmere products, improve the leading ability of cashmere products in fashion consumption, and work together to build a modern cashmere industry system in China based on quality, with innovation as the wing, with the market as the sail, and with green as the responsibility.

Director Zheng Yan stressed in his speech that developing new quality productivity is the practical need to promote high-quality development of cashmere industry, and also the inevitable requirement to seize opportunities and achieve high-end leap. Director Zheng raised three hopes for the development of cashmere industry: first, strengthen innovation drive and release new momentum of development; Second, strengthen digital empowerment and create a new engine for development; Third, strengthen brand building and shape new advantages for development.

At the meeting, President Sun Ruizhe made a wonderful keynote report around "Developing New Quality Productivity and Creating a Modern Cashmere Industry". First of all, President Sun analyzed the era value of the textile industry in promoting Chinese style modernization. He said that the industry serves the national economy and the people's livelihood, and makes constructive contributions to stabilizing economic development, nurturing development momentum, and enhancing cultural identity. It is of special importance in the process of Chinese style modernization. It also elaborates on "grasping the direction and focus of developing new quality productivity" and "the practical basis and principle of cashmere industry developing new quality productivity".

President Sun emphasized that the development of new quality productivity and the creation of a modern cashmere industry system should focus on the development of new quality productivity to lay out the industrial chain, climb higher, expand widely and explore deeply. Priority should be given to the development of advanced manufacturing, improvement of innovation ecology, enhancement of brand value, optimization of regional layout and promotion of responsible development.

At the meeting, Academician Xu Weilin made a speech on the in-depth analysis, identification and thinking of cashmere/wool structure and components based on spectral technology, and made an in-depth research report on the technical path and industry progress of cashmere/wool fiber identification methods.

Dai Tana, general manager of the cashmere group of Ordos Resources Co., Ltd., discussed the concept of integration and innovation from the two dimensions of enterprise and market, and shared the theme of "Ordos 360 degrees to create a sustainable experience, let consumers become practitioners from bystanders", so that more people understand that Ordos respects nature and cares for herdsmen, Give full play to the brand influence and the ability to link consumers, provide consumers with sustainable fashion products and services, disseminate sustainable fashion concepts in a diversified and multi-dimensional manner, actively participate in the formulation of industry standards, and lead the industry in green transformation and other practical stories.

Hua Shan, president of the Industrial Economy Research Institute of the China Textile Industry Federation and director of the China Textile Economy Research Center, analyzed and discussed the construction of a modern textile industry system empowered by new quality productivity through the economic operation of the textile industry, and reported the "Operating Characteristics of the Textile Industry and Key Points to Promote New Quality Productivity".

In the competitive business environment, intellectual property has become the core competitiveness of enterprises and even the entire industry. Wang Qianghua, the founder of Shanghai Tongzhao Intellectual Property Agency, directed the cashmere industry to improve the use of intellectual property rights, develop its own advantages, and create high-quality intellectual property achievements, so as to make the cashmere industry enter a healthy development stage from the perspective of intellectual property protection in accordance with the "Intellectual Property Boosts the Innovation and Development of the Cashmere Industry".

In addition, on the morning of 19th, at the opening ceremony of the 7th China (Ordos) International Cashmere and Wool Exhibition, entrusted by the government of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, the 2024 White Paper on Cashmere Industry Development in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region was jointly completed by the China Wool Textile Industry Association, the Cashmere Industry Promotion Association of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region and the Inner Mongolia Ordos Cashmere Group Co., Ltd Officially released.

On the morning of July 20, the 2024 cashmere industry high-quality development seminar - the annual meeting of the cashmere professional committee of the China Mauritius Association and the annual meeting of the cashmere industry technology innovation strategic alliance were successfully held in Ordos. A total of 60 people participated in the seminar, including the member units of the Cashmere Professional Committee of the China Mauritius Association, the member units of the Technological Innovation Strategic Alliance of the Cashmere Industry and some non voting guests. The meeting was presided over by Liu Yan, Vice President of the China Mauritius Association and Vice President of the Strategic Alliance for Technological Innovation in Cashmere Industry.

Wang You, the chairman of the cashmere professional committee of the China Mauritius Association, first reported on the work summary of the second cashmere professional committee and the next work plan, and made adjustments to some of the vice chairmen of the special committee.
