According to the report, in April, sales of Li Ning and Anta recorded a significant increase. In April, the sales of "China Li Ning" of Li Ning, a subsidiary of Li Ning, soared by more than 800% year-on-year, and the overall sales of several brands under Anta also rose 59%. While the sales of Li Ning and Anta have soared, Adidas and Nike have been in prison for boycotting China's cotton. In April, sales in tmall fell 78% and 59% year-on-year.

On April 19, Li Ning released the first quarter financial report of 2021. The retail flow of Li Ning sales outlets (excluding Li Ning young) in the whole platform increased by 80% to 90% year-on-year, recording a high growth.

On March 24, Anta Group released its annual report for 2020, with annual revenue of 35.51 billion yuan and net profit of 5.162 billion yuan, while adidas' net profit equivalent to about 3.314 billion yuan, that is to say, Anta's net profit surpassed adidas for the first time.

This is enough to show how much impact the boycott of Xinjiang cotton incident has had on Adidas. The boycott of Chinese people and the removal of a large range of shelves have made people's attention shift to the state-owned brand "Guochao". Li Ning is one of the beneficiaries. Therefore, the sales volume in April soared eight times over the same period last year. Anta announced to withdraw from the BBC organization immediately when the BBC boycotted Xinjiang cotton incident, which has become the focus of Chinese people's pursuit.

China's effective epidemic prevention measures have enabled the economy to recover rapidly after the impact of the new epidemic. China's market has become the fastest recovery market in the global market with fierce purchasing power. Boycotting Xinjiang cotton is enough to make Adidas occupy less than half of China's economic recovery.

At this time when the sales of Adidas are falling, it is reported that Adidas has started the selling process of its brand Reebok, and it is expected that Anta and Li Ning will submit quotations. FILA of South Korea and Wolverine of the United States are also regarded as potential bidders.

It is estimated that Reebok's brand value is 1 billion euro. However, as early as 2005, Adidas bought Reebok at a price of 3.1 billion euro. At that time, Adidas bought Reebok in the hope that it could help itself in the competition between itself and Nike. Although it knew that Reebok's performance had been in a low state after the acquisition, there was no alternative, Adidas can only stop losses by selling Reebok when sales are falling today.

According to public information, Reebok is a fitness brand from the United States and is committed to becoming the top fitness brand in the minds of fitness enthusiasts.   Headquartered in Canton, Massachusetts, the company designs, sells and distributes sneakers, gym shoes, casual shoes, sportswear and equipment under Reebok, Rockport, CCM, JOFA, Koho and Greg Norman brands worldwide, and designs, sells and distributes footwear products under the Polo Ralph Lauren brand.
