Industry: Stock Index Futures Expand And Open Up To Maturity

Insiders pointed out that at present, China's stock spot market has already had a good foundation for opening to the outside world, and the stock index futures market has been running smoothly for many years, and an effective supervision system has been established.

Foreign investors have entered China's stock spot market in the form of qualified foreign investors (QFII) for more than ten years. QFII and RMB qualified foreign institutional investors (RQFII) have also been able to carry out hedging pactions using stock index futures, and the market base of stock index futures opening to the outside world has become more mature.

In addition, domestic futures market crude oil futures, iron ore futures and PTA futures have been smoothly opened to the outside world, all of which laid the foundation for the expansion of stock index futures.

It can be said that at this stage, the time to expand stock index futures is ripe.
