In the 1-11 month, the total retail sales of social consumer goods increased by 12% over the same period last year, of which 11.8% of urban consumption and 12.9% of rural areas, the cumulative growth rate of rural consumption has been consistently higher than urban growth for 30 consecutive months.

In November, the national consumer price level rose 1.4% year-on-year, and the cumulative growth rate in 1-11 months was 2%, and the price environment was mild.

2. from the overall data of hundreds of major retail enterprises in China

(1) overall situation

In November 2014, the number of retail sales of 100 major large-scale retail enterprises increased by 2.6% over the same period last year, a year-on-year increase for two consecutive months, up 0.1 percentage points from the previous month, but 2.2 percentage points lower than the same period last year.

Judging from the sales of various commodities in November:

Retail sales of Cereals, Oils and foodstuffs increased by 7.2% over the same period last year, and the growth rate slowed 5.5 percentage points over the same period last year. In addition to food and nourishing food products, retail sales of other commodities increased year-on-year. Among them, the retail sales of vegetable commodities reached two figures year-on-year, and the situation was relatively good.

   Clothing category Retail sales decreased by 0.9% compared with the same period last year, and the growth rate was negative, and 0.7 percentage points higher than the same period last year. Retail sales of clothing increased by 6% over the same period last year, and the growth rate increased by 5.5 percentage points over the same period last year.

Retail sales of household appliances decreased by 4.6% compared with the same period last year, and negative growth for fifth consecutive months. The growth rate dropped by 15 percentage points over the same period last year, but the decline narrowed by 2.8 percentage points from last month. Among them, except washing machines and induction cooker, the retail sales of other major household appliances were less than that of the same period last year.

Gold and silver jewelry retail sales grew by 4.4% over the same period, a year-on-year increase in three months, but the growth rate slowed 4.6 percentage points over the same period last year.

Retail sales of cosmetics increased by 3.3% over the same period last year, and the growth rate slowed 2.6 percentage points over the same period last year. Retail sales of daily commodities increased by 4.3% over the same period last year, and the growth rate was flat compared with the same period last year.

(2) footwear retail

Since the beginning of this year, the retail sales volume of hundreds of key retail enterprises in China has been running low, and the growth of retail sales has dropped to two negative figures at the beginning of the year. However, the negative growth rate has gradually shrunk. In 1-11 months, the retail sales of footwear increased by -3.8%, and the volume increased by 3.2%.
