The report shows that on October 2014 3-9, the net contract volume of US cotton exports was 1588 tons in 2014/15, a decrease of 90% from the previous week, a decrease of 95% over the previous four weeks. The main buyers were Taiwan, Turkey, Thailand and Peru, and 3357 tons of contracts were cancelled in mainland China.
In 2015/16, the net volume of US cotton exports was 2236 tons, the main buyers were Honduras, Mexico and Turkey.
The export volume of us upland cotton exports is 14 thousand and 900 tons, the lowest record since the current year. It is mainly shipped to Mexico, Turkey, Indonesia, South Korea and Mainland China (1247 tons).
In the year of 2014/15, the net export volume of Pima cotton was 136 tons, 79% less than that of the previous four weeks. The main buyers were Peru and South Korea.
