Wenzhou Ouhai Shoe Factory Warehouse Fire

After more than 2 hours of fighting by fire fighters, at 8:30 pm on February 17th, a shoe factory fire in Ouhai was extinguished. Fortunately, there were no casualties.

On the evening of 17, 6 o'clock, a fire broke out in a shoe factory in the front garden village of Louqiao street, Ouhai. All the factories near the shoe factory were filled with flammable rubber soles, and this one had a high-voltage wire. Once the fire spread, it would be possible to burn the battalion and even cause a large power outage nearby.

The closest water source to the fire shoe factory is about 1500 meters.

After receiving the police, the fire department has mobilized more than 70 fighters of the 4 fire squadrons in the city and 9 fire engines to the scene. 6 of the fire engines, through relay water supply, fought to save them and eventually put out the fire.

The cause and loss of the fire are still under investigation.
