The Annual Demand For Raw Materials Of Wendeng Home Textiles Will Reach 25 Billion Yuan.
At the "2006 China Korea (Wendeng) craft Home Textile Expo" press conference, Zhang Shimo, director of Wendeng SME Bureau, said: "according to the current development rate, by 2010, there will be 1000 home textile enterprises in Wendeng, with sales revenue exceeding 50 billion yuan, and the total value of raw and auxiliary materials and processing equipment will be about 25 billion yuan.
Although the market space is very large, there is a lack of supporting enterprises in Wendeng, and the purchase of raw materials for home textiles is out of the market. This will be a huge potential market.
At present, the total number of home textile enterprises in this city reaches more than 500, and its products are exported to more than 60 countries and regions, such as Europe, America and Africa.
With the rapid growth of the home textile industry, Wendeng has already formed a huge demand market for raw materials for home textiles. The total value of raw materials and equipment such as yarn, cloth, sewing thread, spray cotton, printing and dyeing, packaging materials and so on is about 6 billion yuan annually.
According to the present development speed, by 2010, there will be 1000 home textile enterprises in Wendeng, more than 9000 domestic textile businesses, and sales revenue will exceed 50 billion yuan. The total value of raw and auxiliary materials and the total value of processing equipment will be about 25 billion yuan per year.
