When talking about the difference between innovation works and other investment institutions, Li Kaifu mainly explained the three point: "first of all, the members of the Innovation workshop are not VC origin, there is not much investment experience, and can not be done in the latter part of the project."
But Li also said that most of the members of the Innovation workshop come from large and high-tech enterprises at home and abroad, and have a deeper understanding of the grasp and Prospect of technology.
The second difference is the broad connections of innovative workshops in the TMT field. The third point is to provide a full range of services, including recruitment.
"In the past year, the Innovation workshop has selected one hundred thousand resumes, and this year will recruit 100 fresh graduates who are passionate about entrepreneurship, and such value-added services can not be provided by general VC."

In view of the operation status of the Innovation workshop for more than a year, Li Kaifu has introduced 20 projects, 13 of which are large, and 7 are very small.

Li Kaifu also revealed the fund raising situation of the Innovation workshop: the US dollar fund has been over and stopped fundraising; the RMB fund has just been raised, but it is also about to exceed the total size of the fund at least 1 billion 500 million.

In view of future investment strategy, Li Kaifu said, "at present, China has seldom invested in early investment, but I am very optimistic about it.

Specifically, Li Kaifu believes that early investment focuses on mobile Internet; growth investment pays close attention to e-commerce, such as Kansei shopping, O2O, Internet brand building, etc., with particular attention to the explosive development of micro-blog and open platform. At present, cloud computing and Internet of things investment are too early to solve key problems.

"I think 2011 will be a year of explosive growth of the mobile Internet."
Li Kaifu emphasized, "how big the Internet space is today, and the mobile Internet will have more than ten times of space in the future."
Li Kaifu takes mobile phone as an example to illustrate the development space of mobile Internet. "At present, the price of mobile phones and smart phones is falling rapidly and bandwidth is getting better and better. I think there will be a retail smart phone of seven hundred or eight hundred yuan next year."
Li Kaifu believes that the use of these mobile phones is mainly young people, operators should develop relative entertainment, community-based, suitable for young people's applications.
"These applications do not exist in today's mobile phone industry."
Group buying is just the tip of the iceberg of O2O.
At the same time, Li Kaifu also analyzes from the perspective of growing investment. The development trend of emotional shopping and Internet making brand in e-commerce is all the focus of attention. The development of O2O is the focus of Li Kaifu's attention.
O2O, or Online To Offline, is also going to combine online business opportunities with the Internet, making the Internet the front desk for offline pactions.
In this way, line service can be used to line up customers, consumers can use the line to screen services, and pactions can be settled online, and soon reach the scale.
