Classification Of Acrylic Fiber

Acrylic fiber is

Polyacrylonitrile fiber

In our country's commodity name, the basic raw material is acrylonitrile.

It is obtained by copolymerization of acrylonitrile with second monomers (methyl acrylate or methyl methacrylate, etc.), third monomer (sodium acrylate sulfonate, etc.), and then by wire drawing.

Its properties are very similar to wool, so it is called "synthetic wool".

Properties and uses


  

Acrylic fibres

It has many excellent properties, short fiber bulky, soft, curly, appearance and feel are very like wool.

The unique characteristic of acrylic fiber is thermoelasticity (heat shrinkage), which can be used to process bulky yarn.


Acrylic fiber is one of the best textile fibers for its light fastness and weather resistance.

Acrylic acid is good in acid resistance, stable in oxidizing agent and organic solvent, and poor in alkali resistance. It is easy to turn yellow when treated with dilute alkali or ammonia.


Acrylic fiber has a wide range of uses, short fibers can be pure spinning, and can also be blended with wool and other fibers to make high-grade wool.

Acrylic fibers can be processed into blankets, carpets or artificial fur, and can also be made into bulky yarns for knitting materials.

Because of its good light fastness, it can be used for curtain, curtain and gun clothing.

Denatured polyacrylonitrile fiber has good fire resistance and is not easy to catch fire. It can extinguish itself after fire.


Imported acrylic fiber is a statutory inspection product. Imported acrylic fiber is not inspected by the China Inspection and quarantine department, and is not allowed to be sold and used.

The main inspection basis for import acrylic fiber is trade contract, based on the quality index and amplitude stipulated in the contract.
