2010 Bangkok International Leather Fair Held Today
This year, the textile and garment industry in Thailand is expected to grow by 10-15%. This should be appreciated for regional integration, which has consolidated Thailand's export competitiveness.
PhongsakAssakul, President of the Thailand Textile Manufacturers Association, said that despite the recent political and economic challenges in recent years, the textile industry still rebounded rapidly.
This growth forecast is based on the optimistic growth brought about by the expansion opportunities of the region.
The Asian comprehensive service alliance was established by all 10 member countries of ASEAN textile industry and the ASEAN Competitiveness Enhancement Committee and the United States International Development Agency.
The three year goal of the ASW is to ensure that the local manufacturers and buyers within and outside the region are effectively aligned to Promote ASEAN's capacity and regional collaboration and to promote global market demand.
By participating in this project, manufacturers can optimize operation through the entire supply chain: cutting costs, production efficiency, quality assurance and delivery timeliness.
Thailand's textile industry lost 13% of its exports last year.
DejPathanasethpong, President of the Thailand Garment Manufacturers Association, said Thailand has the ability to survive in the global textile and clothing market, which should be attributed to continuous product development and quality assurance, which has been trusted by international buyers.
Other main factors include human resources, especially fashion designers in Thailand. They have high technology in production trends and seasonal oriented product design.
At the same time, support from related industries has also played an important role.
Trend design, update manufacturing process, brand strategy, innovative style and better sales network are also a problem.
为促进泰国的地区位置,曼谷国际时尚展览会和2010曼谷国际皮革展、东盟一体化:纺织-服装-皮革展将在4月1-4日举行。600多位展出者和来自于近100个国家的参观者将参加这些展销会。
