Several Ways To Improve Team Work Efficiency

Before we want to improve efficiency, we need to know what efficiency is.

For designers, "efficiency" is equal to "project completion" and "required time" ratio.

Project completion: refers to the expected effect of the project.

In short, efficiency is how much time it takes to complete an effect.

Now I would like to list some common ways to improve efficiency.

1, optimize the "required time".

This is the most common way to work overtime.

Almost all working days are based on working days as a unit of calculation, and rarely use work, thus giving birth to this barbaric way. Working hours 8 hours a day, if working overtime for 4 hours, working overtime 5 days a week can squeeze 2.5 working days.

In some less formal enterprises, overtime pay is often not required to pay overtime wages. This method is the perfect efficiency spokesman of the boss.

The disadvantages of this method are:

1) overtime is not good for employees' health.

2) the probability of error in fatigue work is increasing.

3) reduce employee creativity.

2, the "project completion" reduction.

When overtime is unable to solve the "required time" limit, this is usually the two option.

"Project completion" is directly proportional to the "required time", reducing the "project completion", and the natural "required time" decreases.

The disadvantages of this method are:

1) the early stage of Jerry building and later sewing.

2) small problems will not be solved and they will become a big problem.

3) reduce user experience and affect the impression of users.

With two counter examples, let's talk about ways to really improve work efficiency.

3, optimize the "process".

In a team, there are many roles. In the process of negotiation and research, the designers often fail to see the figure of the designer. After much examination and approval, sorting, filtering and communicating to the designer, the opinions have changed beyond recognition, which has been repeatedly modified and delayed in the intermediate links, which greatly affects the efficiency of the designer.

Therefore, designers should be allowed to enter the project earlier. Before entering the requirements, designers can get first-hand opinions and give appropriate suggestions from the perspective of design.

4. Optimize workflow.

When a team adopts a serial workflow, the "required time" equals the sum of the working hours of each person, and if parallel workflow is adopted, it will greatly reduce the "required time".

How to implement parallel workflow?

The typical way is "separation of structure and performance". The front-end designers, visual designers and programmers jointly establish framework structure, visual designers create page renderings, front-end designers build HTML structure, and programmers embed programs in HTML structure.

When the Visual Designer completes the rendering, front-end designers use CSS style to control page performance.

Why not reduce the "required time" without additional cost?
