Main Duties Of All China Federation Of Trade Unions

The Chinese trade union is a mass organization of the working class under the leadership of the Communist Party of China under the leadership of the Communist Party of China. It is a bridge and link between the party and the masses of workers and workers, an important social pillar of the state power, and a representative of the rights and interests of members and workers.

The National Federation of trade unions is the leading body of all local federation of trade unions and national organizations of industrial unions.

The all China Federation of trade unions is headed by the Secretariat of the CPC Central Committee.

Its main responsibilities are:

(1) according to the party's basic theory, basic line, basic programme and policy of labour movement, we must carry out the principles, tasks and resolutions set by the National Congress of the Chinese trade union and the executive committee meeting around the overall work of the party and the state.

(two) in accordance with the law and the constitution of China's trade unions, we should organize and guide trade unions at all levels to unswervingly implement the party's fundamental guiding principle of wholeheartedly relying on the working class, and further highlight and fulfill their maintenance functions.

(three) to investigate and study the major issues concerning the legitimate rights and interests of workers, to put forward opinions and suggestions to the CPC Central Committee and the State Council to reflect the thoughts, wishes and demands of the staff and workers; to participate in the drafting of policies, measures, systems and laws and regulations concerning the vital interests of employees; and to participate in the investigation and handling of major casualties of employees.

(four) responsible for trade union theoretical and policy research, studying and formulating the organizational system and democratic system of trade unions, supervising and implementing the implementation of the constitution of the trade unions of China, guiding the reform and construction of trade unions themselves, and guiding trade unions at all levels to carry out democratic election, democratic decision-making, democratic management and democratic supervision with the basic level of the staff congress as the basic system, and promoting the establishment of an equal consultation, collective contract system and supervision and guarantee mechanism.

(five) assisting the party committees of provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the central government in managing the leading cadres of Provincial Federation of trade unions, assisting the relevant departments and bureaux of the central government in managing the leading cadres of the national industrial trade unions; supervising and checking the situation of Party members and cadres in the National Federation of trade unions and directly affiliated units, and building a clean and honest administration; and studying and formulating the management system and training plan for trade union cadres, taking charge of the training work of trade union leading cadres above the city level trade unions and large enterprises and institutions.

(six) to assist the State Council in doing well the recommendation and selection of labor models throughout the country, in charge of the management of labor models throughout the country; in charge of the commendation and management of the national labor medal and the award winners.

(seven) to be responsible for the management, examination and auditing of trade union funds and trade union assets; study and formulate relevant systems and regulations for trade union organizations to set up workers' labor and welfare undertakings; and be responsible for the guidance and coordination of the labor and welfare undertakings set up by the trade unions.

(eight) responsible for the international liaison work of trade unions, developing friendly relations with trade unions in various countries, and working with trade unions in Hongkong, Macao Special Administrative Region and Taiwan region.

(nine) undertake other matters assigned by the CPC Central Committee and the State Council.
