According to the statistics of the National Bureau of Statistics, from January to December 2022, 559 silk enterprises above designated size will have an operating income of 66.435 billion yuan, down 3.4% year on year. Among them, the operating income of silk reeling processing was 26.402 billion yuan, down 2.38% year on year; The operating income of silk weaving processing was 33.083 billion yuan, down 4.33% year on year; The operating income of silk screen dyeing was 6.95 billion yuan, down 2.81% year on year.

The profit of the whole industry was 2.573 billion yuan, down 19.72% year on year. Among them, the profit of silk reeling processing was 860 million yuan, down 31.54% year on year; The profit of silk weaving processing was 1.312 billion yuan, down 7.97% year on year; The profit of silk screen dyeing and processing was 524 million yuan, down 23.32% year on year. There were 173 loss making enterprises in the whole industry, with a total loss of 430 million yuan, up 30.35% year on year; The loss area was 30.95%, up 7.44 percentage points year on year.

Industrial liabilities totaled 38.592 billion yuan, up 8.21% year on year. The inventory of the enterprise was 14.023 billion yuan, up 1.12% year on year. The export unit price was 6.37 US dollars/meter, up 3.07% year on year; The export of silk products was 756 million US dollars, up 9.74% year on year, accounting for 44.46%.
