Trading Situation Of Turkmenistan National Commodity Raw Material Exchange (February 15-20)

The state news agency of Turkmenistan reported on February 21 that in the week from February 15 to 20, 66 contracts were registered in Turkmenistan's national commodity raw material exchange.

In terms of foreign exchange trading, purchasers from Russia, the United Arab Emirates and Afghanistan purchased polypropylene and low sulfur boiler fuel oil from Turkmen Bashi oil processing complex, while buyers from UAE, Britain, Afghanistan and Singapore purchased e cco-93 gasoline, liquefied gas and industrial sulfur from Turkey's natural gas country Konzern. Russian, Chinese, Azerbaijani and Kyrgyz buyers purchased plain jacquard terry fabric and cotton yarn with a total contract value of more than US $110 million.

In terms of local currency transactions, buyers from UAE, Turkey and Pakistan purchased cotton yarn, licorice root extract and medical supplies, with a total contract value of more than 65.764 million manat (equivalent to US $18.79 million).

In terms of domestic market, Turkish enterprises purchased polypropylene coextrusion film from Konzern, Turkmenistan's natural gas country, with a total transaction volume of more than 16 million manat (equivalent to US $4.571 million).
