Nantong: Speed Up The Development Of Characteristic Parks And Promote The Transformation And Upgrading Of Textile Industry

On the 19 day, the consultative Office of the Nantong municipal CPPCC economic circle "has something to discuss" to carry out consultative activities around "accelerating the development of characteristic parks and promoting the transformation and upgrading of the textile industry". The consultative event is also part of the research activities of the CPPCC Standing Committee meeting on "strengthening the main battlefield of the economy and building the upgraded version of the park". The textile industry is a traditional pillar industry in Nantong. After years of development, textile and garment industry system has been gradually formed, such as home textile, chemical fiber, cotton textile (dyeing and weaving), printing and dyeing, wool textile, knitting, clothing, cocoon and silk, and so on. High-end textile has become one of the three pillar industries in the city. According to statistics, there are 1066 key textile enterprises above Designated Size, employing about 1/4 of the total number of employed Enterprises above designated size. At the same time, the development of the industry chain is uneven and inadequate, which restricts the high quality development of the textile industry in our city.

In an interaction with CPPCC members, entrepreneurs and responsible comrades in charge of relevant departments, Huang Weidong said that the characteristic park is an important carrier for the development of enterprise cluster. It is suggested that the relevant parks should further clarify the industrial orientation, do well in the industrial layout, increase the construction of infrastructure and public service platform, and guide enterprises to actively transform and upgrade, and choose environment-friendly and energy saving students. Production technology, improve the level of digital and intelligent, so as to promote the healthy and green development of the industry. Huang Weidong pointed out that this year, the Municipal Association will carry out the construction of the consultative conference room of the CPPCC in an orderly manner on the basis of the complete coverage of the consultative office building in the towns, streets, parks and administrative villages last year. Recently, various consultative offices of the CPPCC have been established and relevant consultative activities have been carried out. Focusing on the hotspots, difficulties and focus issues of the masses, through "please come in, go on, join together", we should invite the masses to talk more about the common people's affairs.
