The Guinea Government Calls On Civil Servants To Wear More Domestic Clothing To Promote The Development Of Guinea'S Textile Industry.
According to Guinea media "Guinee News" reported on May 13th, Guinea Minister of culture recently issued a speech calling on Guinea civil servants to dress in Guinea's local clothing while they were at work. He also called on Guinea parliamentary members to dress in Guinea domestic clothing during their parliamentary meetings.
He said that President Cont has set an example. Recently, President Cont was dressed in Guinea's own national costume whether he visited or had important meetings in the country and met with foreign dignitaries.
If the public servants in Guinea take the lead in wearing domestic clothing and lead Guinea residents to wear Guinea's own garments, they will play a great role in promoting the local garment industry in Guinea.
