Diane von Furstenberg (Chinese Name: Diane Fonfstine Bao) brand is the brand created by the designer of the same name.

Abbreviation: DVF.

Diana von Furstenberg, a Russian Jewish designer, was born in Brussels, Belgium.

Diana von Furstenberg (formerly known as Diane Michelle Halfin) was moved to New York in 1969 with the German Royal descendant and fashion designer husband Egon von Und Zu Furstenberg, and under the guidance of the RC, she met the boss of Italy weaving mill.

In addition to buying cloth from Ferretti, DVF flew to Italy every week to learn cloth production processes with Angelo.

Although DVF, who graduated from University of Geneva, studied economics instead of fashion, he succeeded in becoming a fashion designer at that time.

Since 1969, DVF has been making clothes for guests through homework.

Until 1972, DVF gave her design skirt to Diana Vreeland, editor of the authoritative magazine "VOGUE", and Vreeland put one of DVF's skirts on the magazine, that is, the name of DVF became the new name of New York fashion industry, and promoted DVF to open the first market in New York.

To mention DVF, I believe we have to mention the birth of 1973, making the classic design of DVF Wrap Around Dress.

Wrap Around Dress generally refers to the package design without a zipper and buttons, and only relying on the belt to tighten up the clothes.

The design is based on the Japanese kimono design and the fashionable fabric pattern, making the fashion a new craze for women's fashion. It has sold over five million in just three years.

In 1975, DVF boarded the cover of "Newsweek" (Newsweek) at the age of 29 and was known as the queen of New York fashion.

At that time, many fashion figures also described DVF as the most potential fashion designer after Ms. Coco Chanel.

Since the success of "Wrap Around Dress", DVF expanded its business to cosmetics, jewellery, handbags and furniture in 80s.

Unfortunately, due to the rapid development of the business, the business failed to stand firm. DVF sold cosmetics business to Beecham in 1984 and moved to Paris to concentrate on its family life and enjoy life.

Ms. DVF continued the classic "Wrap Around Dress" in the spring and summer fashion series in 2006. Until 1990, DVF returned to New York to rebuild its DVF kingdom.

Unlike in the past, DVF not only focused on fashion, but also opened up products that revolve around her life, including candles, bedding and even publishing houses.

In 1997, DVF appointed his daughter-in-law as the creative director and gradually retired to the background.

Since DVF returned to New York, its momentum has been rising or decreasing. In 1999, DVF was selected as the director of the American Fashion Designers Association "Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA)" and opened a new store in New York in 2001.

In 2003, DVF caught up with sports and collaborated with the fashion sports brand Reebok in a series of "RBK by DVF" sportswear, which was launched by tennis red lady Venus Williams into Wimbledon tennis tournament, and opened the first London special store in the same year.

In 2004, DVF realized many years of aspiration, opened a special store in Paris, and opened the first Asian specialized store in Hongkong in 2005. It is the sixth specialized shop after New York, London, Miami, Paris and Losangeles.

In addition, in 2005, DVF was awarded the lifetime achievement award by CFDA, which shows its importance in the fashion industry.

Red Shoes

One day in 1992, Christian Louboutin, a shoe designer, saw his assistant paint the nail polish on his feet, which inspired him to dye his shoes red. In his view, the usual soles are too "lack of passion", and in this way, a legend was born.
