Nonwoven bag export market

The most important competitor in the world is their country providing subsidized and rewarding policies for non-woven bag enterprises, and their production cost is much lower than that of Pakistan. However, in Pakistan, the authorities have not adopted any specific measures to reduce the export cost.

China and India have many subsidized policies and encouragement to the nonwoven bag industry, so that they can make money and raise their competitiveness.

Alamgir A. Shaikh, the chairman of the sub committee, said that nearly all the export enterprises in this year were eligible for membership of the export branch, so that they could participate in the activities of the export Committee.

He said that in July 2006 -11, the export amount was $6 billion 900 million, compared to the same period of 6 billion 500 million dollars.

He also said that the world market has shifted from seller's market to buyer's market. In order to preserve it, we must shorten delivery time, optimize operation and provide competitive price. These are the premise of non-woven bag enterprises.

Alamgir A. Shaikh advocates that the energy costs of China and India countries are much lower than those of Pakistan.

India has adopted some measures to reduce the production cost of the nonwoven bag factory, and preferential policies are also available in the existing industrial areas.

At this point, it is time for the Pakistan authorities to adopt specific measures to protect the export of non-woven bags enterprises, because the non-woven bags are facing tough times.
