In addition, in September, the Jiangsu consumer price index (CPI) hit a new high of 104.6, which is not only higher than the national average of CPI, but also exceeded the target of Jiangsu's price index early this year.
In the food category, the price of vegetables has soared significantly, rising by 11.5% in September. In the past three months, the price of fresh vegetables in Jiangsu has increased by 32.6% continuously, which is a rare phenomenon in the past 5 years.
