Shenyang: Complaints About Clothing And Footwear Remain High
In the first half of this year, the Shenyang consumer association system received 1044 complaints from consumers. The success rate of mediation was 87.54%, which saved 2 million 147 thousand yuan for consumers.
Recently, reporters learned from the Consumers Association of Shenyang that the total number of consumer complaints received in the first half of this year increased by 6.21% compared with the same period last year, and the recovery of economic losses dropped by 16.92%.
Among all the complaints, the most complaints were catering, bathing and Cosmetology, accounting for 23.95%.

Shoes and caps and food complaints were also more than 10%.

Complaints about entertainment increased by 120% over the same period last year.
Consumers are most concerned about the problem of failing to fulfill their promises, breaking contracts, such as "shrinking" of gym services, replacing coaches without permission, failing to use aging equipment, and reducing or cancelling fitness grounds.
In the first half of this year, the Shenyang Consumer Association had a total of 50 complaints about beauty salons and bath, which hit a new high.

Complaints about pharmaceuticals, health products and medical devices increased, an increase of 36.9% over the same period last year.
According to the Consumer Association survey, victims of such cases are mostly middle-aged and elderly consumers.
In addition, real estate disputes and mobile phone problems remain hot topics.
Shenyang consumer association responsible person said that the proportion of quality complaints in the first half of this year decreased by 5%.
The quality complaints of household appliances and mobile phones and other consumer goods have dropped significantly, mainly due to the intensification of market competition. Businesses are paying more and more attention to the influence of their brands, and have made great efforts in the quality of products.
However, complaints arising from security problems rose sharply, an increase of 100% over the same period last year.
Complaints about express goods also increased significantly.
