A Concert Will Be Held In New York To Celebrate The Expo.

Ambassador Lang Lang sounded the opening bell on NASDAQ in New York today, and announced that he will cooperate with the Shanghai Symphony Orchestra and the New York Philharmonic Orchestra on the 13 th of this month to hold a symphony concert in New York Central Park to celebrate the successful holding of World Expo in Shanghai.
This is the first time that the New York Philharmonic Orchestra has performed with other Symphony Orchestra on Central Park lawn.
The 13 day's performance includes Tchaikovsky's Poland dance, Bernstein's symphony, and Wagner's Opera Hauser.
Lang Lang said: "I am very honored to be celebrating the first time in China's history of World Expo with the prestigious Shanghai Symphony Orchestra and the New York Philharmonic Orchestra in Central Park.
The world gathered in Shanghai to show their brilliant achievements in World Expo, and Shanghai will also show its new image as "the next largest city in the world" in twenty-first Century.
